David & Claire review these depictions of obsessive fandom, one a British soccer fanatic and the other a Boston Red Sox die-hard, and consider whether they ring true to our own experiences. We also examine the central romance of both movies, and how changes to the characters altered this dynamic. We'll play snippets from both movies to compare two key scenes with almost identical dialogue. As always, we'll end by sharing which one we each preferred, and what changes we'd make if we were put in charge.
